A sleek office interior for an Australian law firm in the heart of Perth’s CBD. Minimal use of materials help to create a sophisticated palette. A bright interior space with white walls and smoked french oak floors contrast with the black linear lines of the metal framing. Rooms were orientated to maximize views and allow natural sunlight to filter through to circulation spaces. The clean walls provide a gallery-style backdrop to the client’s art collection and create a contemporary working environment that is softened with the accompanying neutral fabrics and patterned cushions to formal banquettes in waiting areas. A casual café-styled pantry is located beside the reception for that quick cup of coffee in between meetings.
