The stack-bonded blockwork brings texture and detail to clean simple facades. While the cool grey shades of the brick contrast with the dark metal, timber paneled door and crisp glazing, creating an overall contemporary feel. As a result of the need for privacy, the main living areas occupy the back of the house and working with large glazed panels, plenty of natural light is allowed to filter through. This transparency also allows for a visual connection between internal family spaces and the courtyard.
The clean lines of the blockwork create a simple and contemporary backdrop to the interior spaces. These interiors are given warmth through the use of timber floors and veneers giving an overall feel for natural elements.
